Mental Health & Learning Disability Hospitals and Mental Health Urgent Care is one of 5 operational directorates responsible for the delivery of clinical services within GHC. The directorate has an annual turnover of over £30m and employs over 600 colleagues.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to provide strategic and operational leadership for this directorate.
The directorate includes Later Life and Working Age Adult Wards, PICU, Rehabilitation, Low Secure and Learning Disability Inpatient units, Crisis and Home Treatment Teams, Mental Health Liaison, and Criminal Justice Liaison Teams.
We seek a senior operational manager with NHS experience in acute and/or community mental health services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creative thinking about future service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills. A strong people focus, excellent communication, political astuteness, and resilience are essential to build positive relationships within the Trust and the broader health and social care system.
Maintaining positive relationships with our local Acute Trust, Local Authority, and Primary Care Networks is crucial to this role.
