Discover an exciting opportunity with a busy Prestige main dealer in Battersea. We are seeking a fully trained Automotive Service/Diagnostic Technician to join a successful team within a busy prestige main car dealership.

Salary: UP TO £48,000

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am - 12:30pm

Ideal candidates will be team players, able to meet deadlines, and use their initiative. The role requires experience in mechanical diagnosis and repair within an automotive main dealer environment.

Diagnostic Technician Responsibilities:
  • Review customer requirements provided by Service Advisors/Executives to ensure sufficient information for repairs.
  • Identify and order necessary parts.
  • Estimate labour operation times for repairs to support customer quotes.
  • Perform repairs according to workshop manuals.
  • Accurately document job cards and provide supporting documents.
  • Record actual time spent on repairs and ensure documentation is complete.
  • Conduct Vehicle Analysis Log (VAL) on every vehicle.
  • Log and track all time in accordance with warranty procedures.
  • Perform road tests and maintain quality control.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician.
  • Understanding of business strategy and objectives.
  • Ability to meet KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, and utilization.
  • Commitment to personal development and team contribution.
  • Completion of Bronze Qualification within 1 year of start date.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.
