Job summary

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a Service Development Officer to join the Public Health Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Team. You will work closely with colleagues across the Council and local partners to advance suicide prevention and mental health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Public Health Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Team.
• Collaborate with the wider Public Health department and Derbyshire Council.
• Support Derbyshire Public Health Strategy priorities and the Derbyshire Suicide Prevention Framework.
• Build enduring relationships with diverse people and partners and champion the work in various settings.

The Service Development Officer will work closely with the rest of the Public Health Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Team, colleagues within the wider Public Health department and the Council, and important local partners. Work will support an area of focus in the Derbyshire Public Health Strategy and contribute to key priorities in the Derbyshire Suicide Prevention Framework.
