The company is partnered with a leading insurance firm that is revolutionising its service and operations with cutting-edge solutions and top-tier service. We're seeking a Service Desk Team Lead to oversee their IT support operations, driven by a passion for excellence and innovation.

As the Service Desk Team Lead, you will lead a dynamic team of service desk analysts, ensuring seamless IT support to keep the business running smoothly. You will be the primary problem-solver, mentor, and results achiever, while introducing the latest technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering growth and success.
  2. Deliver Excellence: Oversee daily service desk operations, ensuring swift and efficient incident and request resolution.
  3. Customer Champion: Build strong relationships with users, resolving issues confidently and with care.
  4. Innovate: Lead the onboarding of new and emerging technologies.
  5. Stakeholder Partner: Collaborate with stakeholders, manage expectations, and handle escalations effectively.
  6. Stay Ahead: Maintain process efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT support as a Service Desk Engineer, preferably with team leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure with effective problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of service desk systems and IT tools.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience in insurance or similar regulated environments is advantageous.
