Role Overview:

We are recruiting for a Service Desk Engineer to join our growing Service Desk team!

Responsibilities:
  • Handle and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, application issues, and basic network and server troubleshooting.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and manage technical queries in line with Littlefish standards and customer-specific SLAs.
  • Resolve 1st and 2nd line technical issues via telephone, email, or live chat in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Prioritise, progress, and monitor IT incidents and requests to ensure resolution within agreed timescales.
  • Work on specific IT projects for customers as directed by the Service Management team.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities at the line manager’s discretion.
Previous Experience:
  • You have experience within a 1st line IT service desk or a similar technical role.
  • You have prior experience in troubleshooting and supporting technologies such as Windows 10, Office 365, Exchange 2010+, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Enterprise Networking.
  • You are willing to undertake government security clearance and counter-terrorism checks.
  • You are familiar with software and technologies including the MS Office Suite and antivirus technologies.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • You can work effectively under pressure with competing priorities.
  • You can work independently and prioritize your work to meet tight deadlines.
  • You have the ability to communicate with and manage various stakeholders effectively.
  • Previous experience within a 2nd line IT service desk or a similar technical role.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support technologies such as MAC OS, Cisco, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Powershell.
  • Understanding of the ITIL Framework.
  • Holding certifications such as Microsoft MSCA or equivalent, ITIL Foundation V3/V4, and Comptia A+ or equivalent.
  • Willingness to undertake further training to fulfill the requirements of the role.
