Job summary

Pilgrim Hospital Boston is seeking an ICT Service Desk professional to support a broad range of Trust systems and users. The role focuses on user-centric service delivery, rapid issue resolution and maintaining stable ICT operations for hospital staff.

You will work as part of a team that handling calls, tickets, and incident management, ensuring security and reliability across Desktop, Networking and server environments. NHS experience is valued.

Qualifications

  • Diploma level or higher ICT qualification or equivalent.
  • Evidence of recent and ongoing personal and professional development
  • Experience of providing ICT Technical support for hardware, software and network environments
  • Experience of providing ICT support for telecoms or network environments and/or servers
  • Previous NHS experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide ICT technical support for hardware, software and network environments.
  • Assist users as first point of contact for ICT issues and ensure high-quality customer service.

Job description

Members of the Service Desk team develop a very broad knowledge across many of the Trust's systems. With a focus on the system users and direct system provision, the position is integral to the smooth provision and operation of the ICT services to users., The Service Desk is the first point of contact for most user support requests and good customer service skills are of high value and importance in this role., Service Delivery Technicians must be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining customer focus., Essential

It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services. Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county. This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations. The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG)
