Team

The Service Delivery Security Manager role is within the KPMG UK Information Security function, reporting directly to the Security Production Assurance & Compliance Lead. This role is essential for providing secure, innovative, and technology-enabled services and solutions for KPMG and its clients, ensuring trust through 'secure by design' services.

Role

The main purpose is to facilitate harmonious delivery of Security Services by collaborating with external Service Providers and various KPMG business functions. Focus areas include:

1. Managing security service relationships to safeguard end-to-end service delivery involving all KPMG UK Technology services and third-party suppliers.
2. Providing governance for infrastructure security services.
3. Overseeing all services provided by KPMG UK Technology and third-party suppliers, troubleshooting issues, and escalating as needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Service Owners to understand their roadmaps and operational needs.
• Lead the governance process for these services.
• Ensure adherence to standards and contractual commitments.
• Review and oversee Service Provider Quality, Improvement Plans, Issues, and Risks, engaging the Security Production Assurance & Compliance Lead as needed.
• Facilitate issue resolution and build consensus around escalations.
• Manage Service Provider Knowledge Management, reporting, documentation, and engagement practices to ensure operational excellence.
• Review capacity plans to meet demand aligned with roadmaps.
• Consolidate reports on security service delivery and initiatives.
• Coordinate planned changes to minimize security service disruptions.
• Communicate major changes or enhancements in Information Security.
• Serve as a point of contact for queries/issues related to Security functions.
• Work with Service Delivery Managers and Service Owners on remediation and expectations.
• Implement security activities, processes, and standards with the Security Production Assurance & Compliance Lead.
• Build stakeholder relationships, negotiate service levels, and define project scopes.
• Monitor compliance with security policies and standards, escalating issues as necessary.
• Propose policy and procedure improvements based on feedback to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Support incident and problem management teams and participate in security governance.
• Manage and develop compliance in relevant security domains using automation and security by design principles.

Knowledge/Skills

• Ability to create dashboards (preferably PowerBI) by consolidating reports from various sources.
• Experience in infrastructure or technology management leadership roles.
• Understanding of change management processes (ITIL).
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills across stakeholder levels.
• Experience managing delivery teams and managed IT services.
• Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Capability to deliver transformation plans supporting operational goals.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Excellent presentation skills.
