Service Delivery Security Manager
This role is within KPMG UK Information Security, reporting to the Security Production Assurance & Compliance Lead. It focuses on delivering secure, innovative, and technology-enabled services, ensuring 'secure by design' principles are upheld to maintain trust with stakeholders, clients, and regulators.
Role
The main goal is to facilitate smooth delivery of Security Services through collaboration with external Service Providers and KPMG business units. The focus areas include:
- Managing security service relationships to safeguard service delivery involving KPMG UK Technology and third-party providers.
- Providing governance for infrastructure security services.
- Overseeing the complete set of services, troubleshooting issues, and escalating as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Service Owners to understand their roadmaps and operational needs.
- Leading governance processes for these services.
- Ensuring standards, guidelines, and contractual commitments are met.
- Reviewing and governing service provider quality, improvement plans, issues, and risks.
- Building consensus on issues and facilitating resolution.
- Managing knowledge transfer, reporting, and documentation for operational excellence.
- Reviewing capacity plans to meet demand and align with roadmaps.
- Reporting on security service delivery and initiatives.
- Coordinating changes to minimize disruption.
- Communicating major changes in Information Security.
- Serving as a point of contact for security queries.
- Working with Service Delivery Managers and Owners to clarify expectations.
- Implementing operational security activities and standards.
- Building stakeholder relationships, negotiating service levels, and defining project scope.
- Monitoring compliance with security policies and standards.
- Proposing policy and procedure improvements based on feedback.
- Supporting incident and problem management teams.
- Managing security domain compliance using automation and a customer-focused approach.
Knowledge/Skills
- Creating dashboards (preferably via PowerBI) from various data sources.
- Experience in infrastructure or technology management leadership roles.
- Understanding of change management processes (ITIL).
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing delivery teams and managed IT services.
- Relationship management with stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
- Ability to deliver transformation plans supporting operational goals.
