Salary: £47k per annum

Place of work: L’Arche Bognor Regis. Some travel and overnight stays will be required within the UK; occasional work from home is possible.

Main purpose of the role

The Service Delivery Manager / Community Leader (Director) is responsible for ensuring that the Community is living the mission of L’Arche, by providing excellent and financially sustainable care and support services and engaging with our neighbours and the wider community around us.

This post will provide support for the L’Arche Bognor Community by:

1. ensuring the Community’s services are well-led and managed, coordinating and overseeing the work of the small leadership team;
2. supporting the Registered Manager to further develop the quality of our service provision;
3. managing the Community’s finances effectively, including liaising with funding authorities; and
4. supporting and leading collaborations and events that build community belonging.

This position does not offer sponsorship and is best suited for a candidate already located in the Bognor Regis area.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

1. Senior leadership experience in support to adults with learning disabilities (or transferable skills and experience in a closely-related field).
2. Experience leading and managing an organisation to deliver results, and to change in response to risks and opportunities.
3. Experience leading and developing diverse teams to flourish, individually and together.
4. Good financial planning skills and experience successfully managing a substantial budget.
5. Evidence of the ability to think strategically, and work collaboratively to deliver strategy and implement plans.
