Job Title: Service Asset and Configuration Manager

WA Consultants are searching for a Service Asset and Configuration Manager for our client – inside IR35, 1 day per week onsite is a minimum requirement. Government experience and SC clearance required. £ umbrella rate per day.

This role requires expertise in Service Asset and Configuration Management (preferably in the ServiceNow Common Services Data Model (CSDM)), Integration, Change Management, and Service Level Management. The primary purpose is to drive continual service improvements to the processes.

Specific work packages are likely to include the integration of Product, Service, and Contract information across ServiceNow and Dynamics platforms. Implementation of Dynamic IT Change models and efforts to mature our approach to Service Level Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated workflows to streamline service delivery and change.
  • Support pipeline deployment automation and continuous delivery.
  • Manage integration of IT services across platforms, including Dynamics and CRM.
  • Drive improvements in service level management, ensuring SLAs are defined and monitored, and processes are aligned with best practices and fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve service management best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL and other relevant service management frameworks.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Strong understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and its application in service management.
  • Experience in designing and implementing automated workflows and change management processes.
  • Proven track record in service level management and SLA achievement.
  • Expertise in IT service integration, particularly with ServiceNow and Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework and service management best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in a public sector or government environment with regulated services.
  • Knowledge of digital, data, and technology trends.
  • Relevant certifications, such as ITIL, PRINCE2, or others.
