Overview

Sanctuary provide in-house repairs and maintenance services for an extensive portfolio of properties across Sanctuary organisations. Role

Service Delivery Manager

Location: Chester

Salary: £40,415 - £42,542 per year

Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 4:30pm

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our day-to-day business across Liverpool. As Service Delivery Manager you will cover different sites across the North Region, your daily activities will include coordinating a team of 10 to 12 operatives, organising the team to work on all stock across the region, reacting to and dealing with repairs as they arise. You will be provided with a company van and will have opportunities to develop your career within Sanctuary.

The role of Service Delivery Manager will include:
  • Overseeing repairs, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard
  • Inspecting works completed to ensure these represent value for money e.g. efficient use of materials
  • Managing the performance of the team of operatives
  • Maintaining compliance for health and safety, ensuring this is promoted and adhered to
  • Handling complaints and breakdowns in service to meet customer expectations
  • Working with colleagues to ensure work is arranged, prioritised and completed in an efficient manner
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure the customer is our main focus.
Skills and experiences
  • To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject, plus ILM membership (The Institute of Leadership) or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a building maintenance or facilities management environment
  • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
  • Basic user of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar)
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
