Business: SARIA’s UK operations have a market-leading presence in a wide range of sectors associated with the food chain. The Position

Applications are invited for a Service Delivery Driver – HGV Class C at our Widnes Site. This is a full-time permanent position working an average 48-hour week (5 days out of 6, Monday to Saturday). You will be required to work in line with the EU Drivers Hours rules and Working Time Directive (WTD).

As a Service Delivery Driver – HGV Class C, your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:

• Driving HGV vehicles and operating the vehicle equipment – bin lift, tail lift, etc.
• Completing the required documentation (Driver Records + Collection Records).
• Ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and clean and the required vehicle checks are undertaken.
• Safe tipping of the vehicle
• Use an electronic PDA in accordance with internal system requirements.
• To act as an ambassador on behalf of SecAnim, ensuring that the client is treated courteously and respectfully

The Person

• Candidates should hold a full Driving licence – HGV Class C essential (Class C+E would be advantageous).
• Be smart in appearance (uniform is provided) and have a pleasant manner.
• Have knowledge of vehicle operation.
• Experience with bin lifts would be preferable.
• Demonstrate their understanding of domestic rules and WTD.
• Undertake a Disclosure and Barring check, as required.
• Hold their Driver CPC.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Will be required to consent to a DBS Check
