Business:

The ReFood AD plants operate as integrated recycling units, processing a variety of food waste to produce renewable energy and ReGrow, a nutrient-rich fertiliser for local farms. The plants also recycle food waste packaging. They provide an environmentally sustainable solution for waste producers seeking to divert food waste from landfills.

The Position:

Applications are invited for a Service Delivery Driver - Class C at our ReFood Ltd, Doncaster Site, working 48 hours per week in line with EU Drivers Hours rules and the Working Time Directive (WTD). Flexibility in start and finish times is required, with shifts primarily in the afternoon.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and exchange 240ltr wheelie bins from clients' premises containing food and catering waste.
• Return bins to the Doncaster site and offload material into hoppers.
• Complete all required documentation accurately.
• Maintain and keep the vehicle clean, performing necessary checks.
• Act as an ambassador for ReFood, ensuring courteous and respectful client interactions.
• Use an electronic PDA in accordance with internal system requirements.

Requirements:

• Full, clean HGV Class C Driving licence.
• Smart appearance (uniform provided) and a pleasant manner.
• Positive representation of the company during site visits and customer communication.
• Understanding of EU Rules and WTD.
• Ability to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Successful completion of a DBS check is mandatory.
