Taumutu Rūnanga Limited is entering an exciting phase of growth, with a number of new opportunities emerging across our team. One of these is the appointment of a seasoned and highly capable Service Delivery Coordinator to help ensure the effective coordination and delivery of both internal and external services.

This is a diverse and hands-on role that provides operational support to committees, leadership, and our six core pou across the organisation. Key responsibilities include coordinating hui and rūnanga business, managing governance documentation and secretariat services, supporting the delivery of events and projects, and ensuring high standards of internal communication, cultural integrity, and health and safety compliance.

As our Service Delivery Coordinator you'll be a natural organiser and communicator, comfortable working across a range of kaupapa and committed to supporting whānau, staff, and your hoamahi through responsive, values-led service delivery. You'll also bring a strong commitment to upholding and promoting the values of manaakitanga, kaitiakitanga, whanaungatanga, and rangatiratanga in all that you do.

Our ideal candidate will have

  • 3+ years of experience providing high-quality coordination or executive support, ideally in a kaupapa Māori, community or public sector environment.
  • Skilled in meeting preparation, record-keeping, and event logistics.
  • Advanced writing and editing skills, with proven ability to draft formal minutes, correspondence, reports, and content.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using websites, social media platforms, and digital publishing tools.
  • Strong understanding of tikanga, te reo Māori, and Te Ao Māori principles, with experience incorporating these into professional roles and settings.
  • Working knowledge of H&S frameworks with experience managing event safety, risk assessments, and wellbeing protocols.
  • Commitment to upholding the mana and aspirations of Ngāi Te Ruahikihiki ki Taumutu.

A full and clean NZ Driver's Licence is preferred. Pre-employment checks may include a ministry of justice, police, and security checks as required.
