Job description

Service Coordinator - Ipswich
£27,000 - £33,000 (DOE)
Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm, Fri: 8am-2:30pm

Join a leading manufacturing and production company as a Service Coordinator! You'll play a key role in managing parts, technician schedules, and customer communication.

Your role as a Service Coordinator:
  1. Documentation Management: Maintain and manage all documentation related to service and spare parts.
  2. Scheduling Coordination: Plan and coordinate service technician's schedules for customer visits around the UK and Europe.
  3. Customer Communication: Act as a liaison between customers and the technical team, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
  4. Inventory and Procurement: Handle the administration of procurement, inventory control, and shipping of spare parts.
  5. Database Management: Maintain accurate records of spare parts availability in the internal database.
  6. Customer Documentation: Assist in the preparation and distribution of customer-related service documents.
  7. Primary Contact: Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries related to parts and services.
  8. General Administration: Perform general ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
  1. Experience in a customer-focused administrative, scheduling or planning role.
  2. Experience using a CRM system and Microsoft Office.
  3. Confident and professional telephone manner.
  4. Previous experience in a service coordination, logistics, scheduling or administrative role (preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment).
  5. Full UK driving license and own transport due to company remote location.
