Job summary

Morris and Young Mechanical Ltd is seeking a proactive administrator to provide day-to-day operational support for the service team in Hertford. You will coordinate visits, log service requirements, respond to customer enquiries and help prepare quotations, ensuring paperwork is accurate and compliant.

The role emphasises clear communication, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within a busy office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an office / admin environment is needed.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Computer literate and proficient in all MS packages.
• Good attention to detail.
• Problem solving skills.
• CRM experience would be beneficial.

• Liaison between Customers & Engineers - Arranging visits to client sites, report any issues / activity
• Log Service requirements on CRM Systems
• Respond to incoming enquiries from customers and delegate to the relevant person
• Address any issues or concerns raised by customers promptly and effectively, finding suitable solutions to meet their requirements and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Create quotations based on feedback from Engineer site visits
• Identify and organise relevant parts and equipment required for upcoming work and check available stock
• Provide Admin assistance to Field Engineering Team
• Ensure the system is kept up to date and fully compliant.

Skills & Experience

This role would suit a confident, people person who has ideally had some previous coordination experience, but knowledge of air conditioning is not essential.
