Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking experienced Service & Commissioning Engineers to cover Yorkshire and the North West. Based in Rotherham, the role involves servicing, installing, and commissioning security systems across the region.

You will respond to call-outs, perform maintenance, and ensure high standards of safety and documentation. A full UK driving licence is required, along with CSCS/ECS or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience with CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems is required.
• Good understanding of IP and IT networks is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills are important.
• Fire alarm experience is beneficial but not essential.
• CSCS, ECS or equivalent card is requested.
• A full UK driving licence is required.

• Job Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire

We are looking for experienced Service & Commissioning Engineers to join a growing team covering Yorkshire and the North West.

The Role

• Service, maintain and commission security systems
• Attend reactive call-outs and planned maintenance visits (PPMs)
• Carry out small works and installations
• Diagnose and resolve faults across a range of systems
• Work closely with clients and site teams
• Complete commissioning and service documentation
• Support other engineers when required
• Participate in the on-call rota
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard

Experience Required

• Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills
