Job summary

The Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Service Centre Support Team Member for the CMS in Birkenhead. You will help ensure a safe, healthy and well-maintained workplace where colleagues on-site can deliver a great service to our customers.

During training you may work from your permanent office location. This role supports recruitment, local communications, and mandatory training across CMS, while building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to promote a positive

Responsibilities

• Make sure the site follows health and safety law, keep risk assessments up to date, and support emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Create and maintain business continuity and incident management plans, test these plans regularly, and support the management of incidents when they happen.
• Plan and deliver site projects, involving all stakeholders, and tracking progress to deliver a high-quality professional service on time.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, working with external partners and suppliers, to keep the site secure, resolve problems, and coordinate building projects.
• Manage site space for all teams, working with Estates and other groups to ensure everyone has what they need and to plan office moves as needed.
• Support CMS priorities by helping with recruitment, local communications, and ensuring staff complete mandatory training.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting trust, collaboration and mutual respect through clear communication.
