Contract/duration: Fixed term until 1st March 2026

Hours: This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts.

For this role, you'll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

What it's like to work here
Reporting to the Local Partnerships Co-Ordinator you'll be driving visitor experiences and engagement at Grantham House. Working both inside and out, you'll support with the delivery of activities and events, assist with day-to-day operations and always ensure that everyone feels welcome.

Want to be part of the next chapter of Grantham House? Built in 1450, Grantham House is a new property joining the North Lincolnshire Portfolio (including Belton Estate and Woolsthorpe Manor), and it will provide essential access to all to green space and heritage in the heart of the market town of Grantham.

Working as part of a small team, you’ll also support across the property as and when required, including in the second-hand bookshop, gardens, and tearoom. No two days are the same and you’ll get involved in all kinds of tasks, including greeting visitors, taking payments, restocking shelves in the bookshop, and clearing tables in the tearoom. You’ll deliver the highest standards of presentation at the property, taking great care in the details.

Visitors are a vital part of what we do, so you’ll be responsible for providing an excellent service to all our supporters. You’ll talk to visitors, answering queries and making sure they can find, or have access to, everything they need for their visit. Working within our spirit of place, you will link everything we do back to our cause, promoting events, offers, products and benefits of actively supporting the National Trust.
