About The Role Service Assistant (Mobility Aids Service)

Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO NU

Salary: £, per annum, pro rata

Hours: Per week - Working Monday and Tuesday

In this role, you'll be the backbone of our Mobility Aids Service, ensuring that every client receives the support they need with dignity and respect. Your dedication will help us maintain a high standard of service, making a real difference in the lives of those who rely on our equipment. Whether you're managing referrals, coordinating deliveries, or working alongside our volunteers, your contributions will be invaluable in creating a positive experience for our service users.

What will a day in the life of a Service Assistant involve?

  • Managing referrals and loaning out wheelchairs and toileting aids.
  • Completing paperwork and updating IT systems accurately.
  • Handling returned stock and ensuring storage areas are clean and safe.
  • Operating a local home delivery service when required.
  • Providing service users with relevant information on equipment usage.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with hospitals and referring agencies.

What will you need to be a successful Service Assistant? You'll have:

  • Ability to work with online stock management systems and Microsoft Office.
