Job description

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Asset and Configuration (SACM) Analyst to join our dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for the monitoring and management of all IT assets, ensuring compliance, effective lifecycle management, and thorough auditing of hardware, software, and licenses. You’ll play a crucial part in optimising the Service Asset and Configuration Management process, contributing your expertise to process design and improvement initiatives, and ensuring that our IT environment operates smoothly and efficiently.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for the monitoring and management of all IT assets, ensuring compliance, lifecycle management and auditing of hardware, software and licenses.
  • Generate insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI to track asset utilisation, compliance, and lifecycle management metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Procure IT hardware in accordance with policy.
  • Assist with day-to-day IT asset management activities.
  • Conduct regular software compliance reviews against license obligations.
  • Perform audits of the UK estate to ensure quality standards and initiate remedial actions.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to processes and controls supporting SACM activities.
  • Collaborate with teams and third parties to ensure compliance and resolve issues.

What you’ll bring:

  • ITIL certification and excellent knowledge of Service, Asset and Configuration Management.
  • Experience working with a CMDB and the specific business services that it supports.
  • Development and management of processes and techniques.
  • Good understanding and experience in ServiceNow.
  • Reporting and analytical skills including Power BI.
  • Knowledge of IT industry and best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Understanding and experience of Agile Methodologies.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

What we offer:

At AXA UK, we’re appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that. You can expect to receive:

  • Competitive annual salary of £33,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience
  • Annual company & performance-based bonus
  • Contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions)
  • Life Assurance (up to 10 x annual salary)
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Opportunity to buy up to 5 extra days leave or sell up to 5 days leave
  • AXA employee discounts
  • Gym benefits
