Are you an experienced Asset and Configuration Manager looking for a new opportunity?

Sopra Steria's Aerospace, Defence and Security sector is recruiting for an experienced Service Asset and Configuration Manager to support hardware and software configuration management. Join an exciting project during its build phase, influencing asset and configuration management processes from the ground up. The role requires active SC clearance and eligibility for Developer Vetting clearance.

What you'll be doing:

• Propose, implement, and manage Asset and Configuration Management functions based on industry standards.
• Manage hardware and software asset information daily.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of asset database/inventory.
• Gather essential asset information, including location, quantities, serial numbers, and audit status.
• Administer the CMDB and License Management database.
• Audit and manage programme assets.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience supporting enterprise service functions.
• IT hardware/software auditing and management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes.
• Understanding of ITIL Service Management processes.

It would be great if you had:

• Knowledge of asset and configuration management tools and techniques.
