Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking a Service Vehicle Technician in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves servicing, maintenance, and repairs of vehicles, ensuring high standards are met.

Candidates must have Level 3 qualifications in Vehicle Repair, a full UK manual driving license, and a commitment to customer service. The basic salary is up to £34,000 with OTE up to £41,000. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm, with one Saturday per three weeks required.

Qualifications

Our client is looking for a Service and Preparation Technician with a great attitude to join their team. As Service and Preparation Mechanic you will take direction well whilst being keen to learn and progress.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of servicing, maintenance and repairs of vehicles
• Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance checks according to manufacturing guidelines ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained.

Skills and Qualifications

• MUST HAVE Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• A genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
• Experience in carrying out servicing and repairs
