Service Advisor - Tiptree Ford & Vauxhall

Underwoods Motoring in Tiptree is looking for a Service Advisor to join their professional team on the Service Reception at our Ford & Vauxhall Authorised Repair Centre.

Underwoods offers a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a successful independent dealer group representing some of the world’s most established vehicle brands with a loyal and growing customer demographic.

The ideal candidate will be an articulate and motivated individual who can maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, providing a smooth vehicle repair experience whilst offering professional advice. The position requires the applicant to work as part of a team, following both Underwoods and the manufacturers' guidelines to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Duties include:

  1. Greeting and processing customers
  2. Updating customers of repair progress
  3. Advising customers of additional work required
  4. Making new appointments
  5. Responding to online enquiries
  6. Raising job cards
  7. Organising courtesy vehicles and collections
  8. Invoicing all work carried out

Previous experience in an automotive service department is desired but not essential, with knowledge of Pinnacle 'Dealer Management System' an advantage. Full training can be provided for the right candidate without experience. Good communication and IT skills are important.

The successful applicant must have an excellent attitude and take pride in their work, providing high levels of customer service, in line with the levels of excellence expected at Underwoods Motoring.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join a successful department within a busy dealership.

Hours are 8:00-18:00 Monday to Friday only, no working Saturday. Profit share scheme plus opportunity to earn additional commission from up-selling certain product lines.
