Sales Advisor Career Opportunities at Glyn Hopkin Group in Ipswich
Duties
  • Greet all customers cheerfully and attend to their requirements promptly.
  • Obtain and record full customer/vehicle details and accurate descriptions of work to be carried out.
  • Liaise with the Foreman/Service Manager on the progress of vehicles in the Workshop.
  • Inform customers of any delay in completion, complying with the Company Pledge.
  • Maintain the Workshop loading system.
  • Inform customers of any work not completed and arrange future appointments.
  • Prepare both cash and account invoices.
  • Present invoices to cash customers and receive payment before vehicle removal.
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints.
  • Ensure “Workshop loading” utilises full labour potential in conjunction with the Service Manager.
  • Record information required for Warranty items on the Job Card.
  • Liaise with Parts Department regarding parts on order for vehicles and bookings.
  • File Job Cards and other documentation.
  • Be flexible to cover various duties as required by management.
Responsibilities
  • Promote good customer relations.
  • Ensure customer instructions or requirements are recorded and fulfilled.
  • Sell available labour and services.
  • Support and implement the Company’s Quality System.
  • Observe Fire and Safety regulations at all times.
