VANRATH is thrilled to be working with a well-regarded commercial vehicle provider in Northern Ireland to help appoint a Service Advisor to join their Ballymena team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and experience in a customer service environment, especially within the automotive, logistics, or transport sectors. Role Overview:

The Service Advisor will serve as the key link between the workshop and customers, ensuring all service-related activity runs smoothly. You'll play an important part in delivering a high level of service and supporting the day-to-day operations of the aftersales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Managing customer service bookings from enquiry through to completion
  2. Updating service schedules and maintaining accurate records for customers and vehicles
  3. Coordinating PSV appointments and related documentation
  4. Preparing job cards, monitoring workshop activity, and assisting with invoicing
  5. Advising customers on recommended work and obtaining approval
  6. Preparing quotations and explaining service details clearly
  7. Promoting maintenance plans and contract packages
  8. Supporting the workshop supervisor in day-to-day planning
  9. Organising customer vehicle collections and returns
  10. Handling incoming and outgoing customer communications in a timely, professional manner
What You'll Need:
  1. Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a related industry (motor/transport/logistics)
  2. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. A proactive and service-focused mindset
  5. Full UK driving licence
