Service Advisor needed in Weybridge / Byfleet area of Surrey

We are working with a Prestige Motor Garage that is actively looking for a Service Advisor to join their friendly team.

Job Role – Motor Vehicle Service Advisor

Salary is circa £30,000 basic, with an OTE of £40,000.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 18:00, Saturdays 09:00 – 13:00 on a rota.

Service Advisor Duties include:

1. Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required in a professional manner
2. Advising on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
3. Selling additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
4. Advising on timescales and collection arrangements
5. Producing job cards using the in-house computer system
6. Updating customer and vehicle records
7. Documenting all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
8. Preparing and completing invoices

Requirements for this Service Advisor position:

1. Some experience working as a Service Advisor within a motor garage (passenger cars, commercial vehicles, HGV, LCV)
2. Full driving licence

As a Service Advisor, you will ensure the highest standards of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and the public.

The client is particularly looking for someone with strong customer service skills, excellent rapport-building abilities, and confidence in up-selling opportunities to achieve great CSI results.
