We are working with a Car Main Dealership near Swanley that is actively seeking a Service Advisor to join their friendly team. A strong customer service background is essential!

Job Role

Motor Vehicle Senior Service Advisor

Location

Swanley

Salary

Basic £27,000 OTE £35,000

Hours

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, with alternate Saturdays

Service Advisor Duties include:

1. Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
2. Advising on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
3. Selling additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
4. Advising on timescales and collection arrangements
5. Producing job cards on the in-house computer system
6. Updating customer and vehicle records
7. Documenting all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
8. Preparing and completing invoices

Requirements for this Service Advisor position:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a car garage or main dealership
• Enthusiastic and passionate about the motor trade
• Full driving license

As a Service Advisor, you will ensure the highest standards of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and members of the public. The client is particularly interested in candidates with strong customer service skills, excellent rapport-building abilities, and confidence in up-selling opportunities, aiming for great CSI results.
