Job summary

A reputable automotive recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their dealership in Hertford. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a franchise dealership and demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills. This role offers a basic salary of £30,000 with OTE of £37,000+ and uncapped commission potential.

Service Advisor

Location: Hertford

Basic Salary: £30,000 | OTE: £37,000+ | Uncapped Commission Potential

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm | 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am–1pm

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join our busy franchise dealership in Hertford. If you’re customer-focused, organised, and have at least 2 years’ experience in a franchise dealership, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive Aftersales team, working alongside 4 Service Advisors, an Administrator, and a Warranty Administrator, handling service bookings, customer communication, and upselling maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and discuss their vehicle service needs in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Communicate customer concerns to technicians and explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Manage service bookings, repair orders, and ensure timely service delivery.
• Recommend additional services based on vehicle history, mileage, and age.
• Upsell service plans and tyres
• Ensure accurate documentation and final invoicing for all work completed.
