Job Title: Service Advisor

Location: Melksham

Salary: Up to 30,000 Basic, depending on experience

Working hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

Ref: 28460

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor for our client's leading supplier workshop in Melksham. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great team and site that offers training and promotion opportunities. Candidates should have experience preferably within an automotive trade as a service advisor or service controller, or in a commercial/HGV workshop, and must have used Kerridge.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:
  • Dealing with customers to book work into the workshop
  • Delivering high levels of customer service, understanding customer requirements, and advising on costs, time scales, and procedures
  • Handling a high volume of work within a busy workshop while maintaining excellent customer service standards
  • Managing invoices and preparing estimates
  • Maintaining control of parts in the service department
  • Handling deliveries
  • Processing warranty returns
Service Advisor Requirements:
  • Previous motor trade experience as a Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
