Location: Colchester Jaguar Land Rover

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Working hours: 42 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm, Saturdays on a rota basis 8:00am – 12:00pm

Salary: £26,000 Basic, Plus Annual Bonus

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team at Colchester Jaguar Land Rover. This permanent role offers a 42-hour workweek, including Saturday mornings on a rota, with a competitive starting salary of £26,000 and a generous, uncapped bonus. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a premium brand.

You will join a friendly and efficient Aftersales department led by a talented Service Manager. We ensure you feel part of the team from the start and will support your development through ongoing training and one-to-one coaching.

Our Service Advisors play a vital role in delivering a personalized, premium customer experience. They utilize their knowledge to inform customers about servicing, MOTs, and repairs, ensuring customers have all necessary information to make informed decisions. We provide continuous training and customer experience workshops to enhance your skills.

  • Booking MOTs, services, and repairs for customers
  • Advising on warranty cover and upselling parts/accessories beneficial to the customer
  • Coordinating with the Aftersales team to schedule appointments based on workload
  • Handling a high volume of customer interactions daily, including calls and online bookings
  • Communicating turnaround times and updates effectively during vehicle servicing
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems accordingly

Ideal candidates will have high energy, a warm personality, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport are essential, along with the ability to explain technical information clearly. Experience with Kerridge (also known as ADP) is advantageous.

Applicants should be capable of maintaining accurate customer records, work well independently and as part of a team, and have experience in a similar automotive customer service role or a passion for cars and customer service.
