Free Bird Table & Oyster Bar offers a unique dining experience, blending the rich, soulful flavors of the American South with the fresh, coastal charm of the Pacific Northwest. Our inviting dining room and spacious patio are the perfect backdrop for memorable meals, genuine hospitality, and exceptional service.

We are currently seeking full-time and part-time Servers to join our growing team. The ideal candidates are warm, engaging individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are passionate about food and beverage, and take pride in delivering memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and interact with guests to create a warm, welcoming experience.
  2. Guide guests through the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations on food, wine, and cocktails.
  3. Deliver high-level service with efficiency, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized section, ensuring all steps of service are completed.
  5. Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth and timely service.
  6. Upsell when appropriate to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
  7. Process payments accurately using our POS and handheld terminal system.
  8. Fulfill opening, closing, and side duties with care and consistency.
  9. Follow all health and safety policies to maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of serving experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
  2. Strong food and beverage knowledge, including wine and classic cocktails.
  3. Serving It Right certification required; Food Safe and WSET certification are assets.
  4. Must be of legal serving age.
  5. Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  6. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  7. Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
