This essential role is part of the Infrastructure Server team, reporting to the Server Domain Manager. Sitting within the Technology department and working with business stakeholders and other Infrastructure teams, this role will leverage Infrastructure expertise to support the delivery of our Technology strategy.

We seek someone with a strong monitoring background who is passionate about technology, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement within the infrastructure server team.

This role offers an opportunity to join a highly technical team responsible for ensuring Quilter’s server and virtualisation estate is operational, performant, secure, and supportable.

The role involves collaboration with support teams, service providers, and management functions. The primary focus will be on effective environment monitoring using Azure Monitor and SCOM.

The successful candidate will have proven problem-solving skills and experience in automating and enhancing monitoring capabilities in a hybrid environment. As Quilter adopts a cloud-first strategy, this role provides a chance to design and implement a modern monitoring solution from scratch, showcasing your expertise in deploying top-tier solutions.

You will have extensive experience supporting modern Windows Server OS, hypervisors like VMware and Hyper-V, and Active Directory. Strong focus on monitoring cloud and on-premise infrastructure, with significant experience in Azure Monitor and working knowledge of SCOM, is essential.

You should be able to demonstrate how you've used monitoring skills to solve challenges and be proficient with PowerShell and automation tools.
