Job Description:

An Arts organisation in London is seeking a Technical Analyst to join their infrastructure team.

As part of the Infrastructure and Operations team, reporting to the Infrastructure Lead, you will contribute to the administration, support, and improvement of digital infrastructure. The core focus is to provide infrastructure support for on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including Virtualisation, Storage, Backups, and Cloud services. You will be involved in upcoming upgrades, including design, implementation, and ongoing support.

The role requires on-site presence 3 days a week in London.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage and monitor IT infrastructure to ensure resilient, business-aligned IT services.
  • Identify and resolve service issues, escalating to third-party suppliers as needed.
  • Administer, document, and monitor IT infrastructure to maintain a secure, compliant environment; share knowledge and procedures with team members.
  • Ensure IT systems are highly available and coordinate with business continuity plans.
  • Work with IT management to identify, mitigate, and control risks, governance, and compliance related to IT infrastructure; develop and manage standards and procedures.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with IT colleagues to support effective infrastructure and assist the Service Desk in resolving escalated issues.
Experience
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure, including Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems, Active Directory, Cloud platforms, Hardware management, SAN storage, Virtualisation, Back-up solutions, Messaging & collaboration services, Networked printing.
  • Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting experience, with awareness of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Effective organizational skills, ability to work calmly under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks.
