A Day in the Life of a Server at STK Rooftop

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the General Manager, your working day will include:

• Making guests feel comfortable and enhancing their experience
• Anticipating guests' needs and exceeding their expectations
• Delivering food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner
• Having detailed knowledge of the menu and articulating it enthusiastically; staying updated on menu changes
• Acting professionally and accommodatingly, maintaining composure at all times

What We Need from You

We hire mostly on personality & potential, but here are some requirements...

To succeed as a Server, you will need:

• At least 2 years of experience
• To be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to communicate effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests
• Knowledge of dining room, wine, cocktail, and bottle service procedures
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods
• Ability to safely lift and maneuver items weighing 20 to 25 pounds
