Join a vibrant community safety team as a Serious Violence Support Officer, responsible for administrative tasks related to the Serious Violence Duty. This fixed-term role offers a competitive salary and a chance to make a difference in community safety.
The Community Safety Services Team, within the Communities Department, is responsible for implementing a multi-agency approach to reduce crime, disorder, and anti-social behaviour across Bexley. The team collaborates with statutory partners such as the London Borough of Bexley, Metropolitan Police, National Probation Service, London Fire Brigade, and health agencies, as well as voluntary organisations, to develop plans and strategies aimed at improving community safety.
We currently have a fixed-term vacancy for a Serious Violence Support Officer until 31st March 2026. This role supports administrative tasks related to the implementation of the Serious Violence Duty. The post is based within Community Safety Services and reports to the Modern Slavery and Violence Against Women and Girls Co-ordinator.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy community safety team. Candidates should have experience in accurately taking minutes in a multi-agency setting, and demonstrate good organisational and time management skills.
