Serious Injury Fee Earner
Location: Birmingham
Salary:£50,000 - £62,000+ Bonus & Benefits

A well-established and highly regarded national personal injury firm is seeking a Serious Injury Fee Earnerto join its growing team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Executive or Solicitor (2–10 years PQE) with a passion for helping those affected by life-changing injuries.

You’ll assist on high-value catastrophic and fatal injury cases involving orthopaedic, brain, spinal, amputation and fatal claims. You’ll also manage your own caseload of serious injury matters (up to £100k in value) and support Partners on multimillion-pound cases, gaining valuable exposure and development in this specialist area.

The role offers a high degree of flexibility with excellent hybrid working arrangements (2 days in-office), the opportunity for occasional travel to meet clients and a strong culture of collaboration, learningand client care.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2–10 years PQE (Solicitor or Legal Executive) in serious or catastrophic injury
  • Experience managing personal injury cases with values up to £100k
  • Strong interest in progressing complex, life-changing claims
  • Excellent client-handling and communication skills
  • Confident working to court deadlines and limitation periods
  • Empathetic, proactive and organised approach to case management

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing your own caseload of serious injury files (including litigated matters)
  • Assisting Partners on high-value and catastrophic claims
  • Engaging in early intervention and rehabilitation planning
  • Valuing claims, negotiating settlements and preparing for trial
  • Maintaining regular client contact and ensuring excellent client care
  • Using in-house case management systems efficiently
