Minster Law is seeking an Associate Serious Injury Solicitor to join our Serious Injury team in Wakefield. You will manage a portfolio of high-value claims, act as a technical expert, and mentor colleagues while contributing to growth and strategy.

You will handle predominantly RTA-related serious injury cases, lead on liability, causation and quantum, draft key documents, and secure early rehab and interim payments where appropriate. Strong leadership and client-care skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEX with a minimum of 8 years PQE.
• Extensive experience managing serious injury claims as lead fee earner.
• Strong litigation skills and knowledge of court procedures.
• Experience mentoring, coaching or supporting colleagues.
• Experience using case management systems, Word and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of complex serious injury claims from inception to settlement.
• Act as a technical expert within your specialism.
• Deliver excellent client care to seriously injured individuals.
• Build relationships through regular client communication and meetings.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
• Analyse evidence on liability, causation and quantum.
• Draft witness statements, pleadings and loss schedules.
• Secure early rehabilitation and interim payments where appropriate.
• Support department strategy, growth and business development.
• Mentor and develop colleagues and conduct case reviews.
