Job summary

Tiro Associates Ltd in Essex, UK, is seeking a Serialisation Technical Support Engineer to support packaging line serialisation and automation systems in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will diagnose faults, configure serialisation recipes, support start-up and qualification activities, and ensure GMP/GxP compliance.

A strong background in GMP-regulated manufacturing and PLC/HMI systems is required, with emphasis on data integrity and cross-functional collaboration with vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting serialisation, automation or packaging line systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Familiarity with GMP, GxP and data integrity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact for serialisation and automation on packaging lines.
• Diagnose and resolve system faults, communication issues and equipment failures.
• Develop, configure and maintain serialisation recipes and product master data.
• Support batch start-up, line clearance and post-batch review activities.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GxP and ALCOA+ data integrity requirements.
• Analyse data to identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Support PLCs, HMIs, scanners, printers, vision systems and related equipment.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers to resolve complex issues.
