Supportive SEN Teaching Assistant Role in Milton Keynes - Start September 2025
Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes
Rate: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Term time only

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs? We're working with a dedicated SEN school in Milton Keynes who are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a background in either education or care who is ready to bring energy, empathy, and strong behaviour management skills to a specialist setting.

This role is ideal for candidates who:
* Have hands-on experience supporting individuals with SEN
* Want to work in a nurturing, specialist school environment
* Are confident managing a variety of behavioural needs
* Are ready to take on a rewarding role that goes beyond the classroom

Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and social-emotional needs
* Work closely with teaching staff to adapt learning activities and resources
* Build positive, supportive relationships with students
* Maintain a calm, structured learning environment to help all pupils thrive

Key Requirements:
* Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN - either in an educational or care setting
* A proactive, resilient, and compassionate approach
* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* A CACHE/NVQ Level 2 (or higher) in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable but not essential
