Job description

Job Title: ICT Teacher

Location: Birmingham

Start Date: September

Salary Range: £160 - £230

About the Role

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in Birmingham that caters to children with autism. The school offers excellent facilities and promotes student engagement both inside and outside the classroom, supporting students' academic and personal growth.

The Head Teacher is seeking a dedicated ICT Teacher for a long-term position until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate. The successful teacher will work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including GCSE exam preparation, and will play a key role in helping students achieve excellent results by implementing schemes of learning.

Requirements
  • QTS with ICT specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching ICT to Key Stage 4 students
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Experience teaching secondary pupils with autism
