SEP Intelligence Lead: Data Discovery & Enrichment

Job summary

LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions seeks a Senior Data Discovery and Enrichment Expert III to independently lead complex data discovery and enrichment projects and to define methodologies underpinning SEP content expansion across our IPlytics and Protégé platforms.

You will coordinate with Product, Engineering and Legal teams, establishing rigorous quality standards and governance while guiding AI-enabled capabilities to deliver high-accuracy SEP insights for valued customers.

Qualifications

• Recognized expertise in Data Discovery and Enrichment with a track record leading taxonomy, classification, or content enrichment projects.
• Direct practitioner experience in FRAND licensing or SEP analysis or portfolio management at a patent holder, implementer, law firm, or patent pool.
• Experience with standards bodies and patent ecosystems (3GPP/ETSI, IEEE, MPEG/AOM, JEDEC, ITU).

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Discovery and Enrichment projects for SEP and standards-related content.
• Define and maintain quality evaluation standards for SEP question classes and AI outputs.
• Author acceptance criteria for new AI capabilities before engineering begins and participate in sprint planning.
• Build and maintain curated evaluation question sets for automated testing and governance.
• Calibrate AI outputs against expert judgment and document overrides with reasoning.
• Hold release gate authority for SEP questions to prevent degraded AI updates.
• Define SEP landscape construction methodologies and deliver bespoke landscape engagements.
• Lead quarterly sessions with FRAND practitioners and licensing executives.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Data Science as a quality authority throughout development lifecycle.
