Job Description:

Central Employment is working with an expanding, award-winning UK Search Agency, to appoint an SEO Specialist, reporting to the Head of SEO.
Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE
Location: 1-2 days from Teesside

As an SEO Specialist, you will:

  • Manage all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to improve search rankings
  • Execute tests, analyze data, identify trends, and insights to maximize ROI in search campaigns
  • Develop systems and protocols to ensure content is optimized across platforms (websites, mobile, social media, blogs, retail portals, etc.)
  • Design and run various tests (A/B, multivariate) on topics like CRO, content optimization, UX, search terms, and landing pages to enhance performance
  • Manage campaign budgets, estimate costs, and reconcile expenses
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Conduct ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
  • Research and implement SEO best practices and recommendations
  • Analyze competitor advertising links
  • Develop and execute link building strategies
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in new code
  • Coordinate with content teams for SEO-driven content creation and programming
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and industry developments
  • Develop reports and communicate SEO performance to internal teams and management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of proven SEO experience and campaign implementation
  • Experience in sectors such as B2B technology, software distribution, and e-commerce
  • Experience with bespoke client link building
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Moz)
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong interest in the digital industry
