Job description

Join one of the UK’s top-performing digital agencies and help deliver SEO campaigns that don’t just rank – they win awards.

We work with household names across e commerce, fashion, automotive and more, and our results regularly get recognised on the industry stage. As a team that embraces innovation, we’re already exploring how AI SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) are reshaping the future of search – and we’re looking for someone ready to help us lead that charge.

At MRS, you’ll be part of a collaborative, award-winning agency (and yes, as a Google Premier Partner we’re in the top 3% of agencies in the UK) – but more importantly, you’ll join a team that values experimentation, ownership and ideas that make a real difference.

We’re looking for a talented and ambitious SEO Specialist to join our growing organic search team. If you want the opportunity to deepen your expertise, embrace AI-driven change, and deliver work that gets noticed – this is it.

What you’ll be doing as our SEO Specialist

You’ll play a hands-on role in delivering performance-driven SEO strategies for a diverse client base. From technical audits to keyword strategies and content optimisation, you’ll help drive measurable growth – while keeping pace with the latest developments in AI SEO and GEO.

Some of the things you’ll get stuck in to.
  • Managing day-to-day SEO performance across client accounts.
  • Creating and implementing strategies tailored to client goals.
  • Conducting audits, keyword research and opportunity analysis.
  • Coordinating activity across technical, content and off site SEO.
  • Monitoring, reporting and forecasting performance with commercial insight.
  • QA’ing and signing off deliverables to ensure high standards.
  • Supporting client communication and building trusted relationships.
  • Staying ahead of SEO trends – particularly AI SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation
What we’re looking for from our SEO Specialist

You’re someone who knows SEO inside-out – but you’re also excited by where it’s going. You thrive on problem-solving, take ownership of results, and have the curiosity to test new tactics in a changing search landscape.

  • We think you’ll need:3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or multi-client preferable)
  • Proven success delivering SEO growth across different sectors/environments
  • Strong grounding in audits, keyword strategy, technical SEO and offsite optimisation
  • Experience producing and optimising content that drives measurable results.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of algorithm changes, AI SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation.
  • (GEO)Proficiency with industry-standard tools (e.g. Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical SEO for clients.

We’re not like most agencies – and we don’t want to be. We care about the work, but we care about our people more. You’ll be part of a genuinely supportive, close-knit team with the freedom to do your best work and the recognition when you do. We’re collaborative, ambitious and proud to say that most of our best ideas come from the team – not the top.

Our beautiful leafy office in Fleet (with its own garden and pond!) is a far cry from grey open-plan boxes, and while we support hybrid working, we still enjoy time together in the office – sharing knowledge, solving problems and doing great work in good company.

Just some of the perks
  • Work from home up to 2 days a week
  • Flexible working hours
  • A collaborative, creative and inspiring working environment
  • Birthdays off
  • Regular company events and socials
