SEO & PPC Marketing opportunity!

WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?

Annual Salary of 31,200 Per Annum
Jarrow office location, office based initially, 1 day from home after probation.
Competitive Holiday Package: 2 days extra holidays after two years service, extra 3 days holidays after 5 years (total of 5 extra days on top of 28).

THE BUSINESS

Our fantastic client is a leader within furniture marking, particularly wood-based products. They seek to appoint a Digital Marketing Executive with a proven skillset within SEO & PPC. Our client is looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Executive to manage and optimise their performance marketing channels (PPC, SEO, and affiliate), while contributing to broader marketing efficiency across content, reporting, and campaign support. This is a hands-on, multi-channel role ideal for someone commercially aware, data-savvy, and adaptable.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Plan, execute, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, and Meta
  2. Monitor spend and performance metrics (ROAS, CPC, CPA, CTR)
  3. Write ad copy and collaborate on creative assets
  4. Conduct A/B testing of adverts and landing pages
  5. Generate weekly/monthly reports and actionable insights
  6. Carry out keyword research and optimise on-page elements (titles, headers, metadata, internal linking)
  7. Identify and resolve technical SEO issues using tools like Screaming Frog or SEMrush
  8. Liaise with content creators to optimise blog and category content
  9. Manage affiliate relationships, approve/reject applications, and onboard new partners
  10. Maintain marketing calendars and coordinate content drops, launches, and events
  11. Create UTM-tagged links, monitor campaigns in GA4 and Looker Studio
  12. Collaborate on product page enhancements and short-form content
  13. Support CRO testing (heatmaps, user flow analysis, A/B tests)
  14. Dedicate time weekly to industry research, webinars, and sharing learnings with the team
THE PERSON
REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and affiliate platforms
  2. Familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Search Console)
  3. Comfortable using Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and Excel/Sheets
  4. Basic HTML and CMS knowledge (Shopify, WordPress, etc.)
  5. Strong written English and attention to detail
  6. Proactive, self-organising approach to workload
BONUS SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):
  1. Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp)
  2. Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop)
  3. Background in e-commerce or furniture/homeware retail
  4. Interest in sustainable or values-led branding
