Job description

As our new SEO Manager, you'll come from an SEO background but have solid strategy and reporting skills. You’ll predominantly be working on the Ralph Lauren account.

Working both with your Account Director and the wider SEO team, as well as collaborating with the wider business, you'll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class experience to our luxury ecommerce clients.

Note: we have a hybrid work arrangement where everyone must be in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities
  • Strong data and analytics background, hands‑on experience in Adobe Analytics, including segmentation, attribution and visitor‑level analysis. Ability to identify opportunities, risks and the underlying drivers behind performance changes.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills, able to explain what is driving performance and translate complex data into clear actions and recommendations.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), including category attributes, metadata management, refinements/faceted navigation, product tagging, and XML bulk uploads/imports.
  • Deep understanding of international SEO e‑commerce, including hreflang architecture, localisation and international site migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of structured data (JSON‑LD), with the ability to validate implementation against page state and rendered content.
  • Ability to identify AI and search trends, changing search behaviour and consumer sentiment, combining public and first‑party performance data to identify emerging trends, risks and growth opportunities.
  • Highly autonomous and naturally curious, able to take an ambiguous problem, determine the right data and methodology, test hypotheses and develop a recommendation with minimal direction.
  • Develop and implement content‑led SEO strategies tailored to luxury fashion and beauty brands.
  • Conduct in‑depth keyword research and content gap analysis to inform strategy
  • Collaborate closely with the PPC, Social, and affiliate teams to ensure unified campaign execution.
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings, presentations, and performance reviews
  • Identify outreach and backlink opportunities to support organic growth.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and emerging content/SEO techniques relevant to luxury and e‑commerce sectors. Continue to develop your knowledge within the digital industry, share and discuss with peers how organic search is changing and how Assembly can react to these changes.
  • Ensure all your accounts are driving hard to continually add value to the client's business, this will be through continued optimisation and innovation. Looking for areas where this can be driven from.
  • Participating in new business work when required, taking ownership and ensuring delivery of the areas you have been assigned.
Required Skills
  • 3+ years' experience in SEO, with minimum 2 years within an agency environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with hands‑on experience using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or equivalent platforms to investigate performance, identify trends and uncover the drivers behind changes in organic and e‑commerce performance.
  • Strong experience in forecasting, using statistical/time‑series approaches such as Prophet, ensemble models and other forecasting models, with an understanding of model accuracy and evaluation metrics such as WAPE, MAPE and forecast bias.
  • Comfortable using Python, SQL, and APIs to analyse large datasets at scale.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or similar e‑commerce platforms/CMSs such as Shopify, Adobe Commerce or equivalent enterprise solutions.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including crawlability, indexation, canonicalisation, redirects, HTTP status codes, robots directives, XML sitemaps and internal linking.
  • Solid understanding of SEO tools (e.g. Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) and experience with uncovering insights.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical and analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines across different clients.
  • Unafraid to voice strong out‑of‑the‑box creative ideas.
  • Excellent communication and presenting skills, including written & spoken English.
Nice to have
  • Multiple languages as well as English would be a nice bonus, as we handle a lot of international clients and clients in various markets globally. This isn’t a requirement though as we also work closely with our translation team!
  • Strong interest in AI, generative search and emerging technologies, with curiosity around how they may change search behaviour, e‑commerce and digital discovery.
  • Experience within luxury, fashion, beauty or large‑scale retail e‑commerce.

At Stagwell Media, our mission is to find the change that fuels growth. We apply this principle to the work we do with our clients and to how we engage with our people. We're a modern global agency bringing together media, data, technology and talent to make brands perform.

Our business is purpose driven. In March 2022, we were named Ad Age’s first ever Purpose‑Led Agency of the Year, recognised for our mission to leave the world better than we found it. This year we became B Corp certified, the result of a two‑year journey. We're proud to have created a culture where diversity of thought, experience, and background are valued, within an environment that fosters continuous learning, adaptability, and a shared passion for meaningful impact.

When you join Stagwell Media, you become part of an award‑winning global community of digitally led experts, home to 1,500 talented people across 25 offices globally. Together we create unique data, technology and media solutions that enable faster and smarter problem solving within an inspired, collaborative workplace.

Stagwell Media is poised for its next chapter of growth. We're a meritocratic, high‑performance business with a progressive outlook and a growth mindset in all that we do. To realise our potential we need some new skills and thinking.

The core DNA of Assembly lies in digital performance marketing. New and existing clients are asking us to extend this expertise across all media, connecting traditional channels with digital methods of execution, measurement and automation. We were born the right way to do this – we're building out from a leading digital and technology capability and adding the rest, rather than trying to reverse engineer a legacy business into a more modern version of itself. At Assembly we ask our people to embody three core values:

Show Up

: actively contribute to a space of personal and collective growth

Make Change:

embrace obstacles as opportunities, taking intentional steps to drive positive change

Win Well:

approach success with integrity, responsibility, and a commitment to collaboration, understanding that the journey is as important as the destination.

We look forward to meeting you and to discussing how we can grow together.
