Job summary

Grey Matter Recruitment seeks an SEO Lead to develop and manage comprehensive SEO strategies for a portfolio of major global brands. You will own campaigns across keyword research, on-page optimisation and technical SEO, driving organic visibility and long-term growth.

Collaborate with Content, Web Development and Digital Marketing teams, analyse performance, present insights to clients, stay ahead of trends, and act as the primary SEO contact with strong client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ experience across SEO or Digital Marketing.
• Strong experience across technical SEO, on-page optimisation and keyword strategy.
• Proven ability to analyse SEO performance and use data to inform strategy.
• Strong knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools.
• Confident working across multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously.
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with Content, Development and wider Digital teams.

Responsibilities

• Own SEO campaigns across keyword research, on-page optimisation and technical SEO.
• Analyse organic performance and identify opportunities to improve traffic, visibility and ROI.
• Use SEO and analytics tools to track performance and turn data into actionable recommendations.
• Develop regular reporting and present performance, insights and next steps to clients.
• Partner with Content, Web Development and wider Digital Marketing teams to implement SEO best practices.
• Stay ahead of search trends and identify new opportunities to improve client performance.
• Act as a key SEO contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and recommendations.
