Job summary

Spark Foundry is seeking a skilled SEO Manager to lead strategy and delivery for one or more key accounts. You’ll partner with the SEO Account Director to design and execute next-generation organic search programs, blending technical rigor with creative insight and data analysis to exceed client KPIs.

You’ll manage and mentor a team of SEO Executives, own end-to-end delivery from roadmapping to reporting, and stay ahead of search trends, including AI-driven discovery and evolving social-search

Qualifications

• Experience in SEO for agency or enterprise-level clients.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS/JS and impact on crawling and UX.
• Strong data analysis, forecasting and ROI reporting to stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior staff and run trainings.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for clients and internal teams.
• Keeps up-to-date with algorithm updates and AI-powered search trends.
• Bachelor level degree; GA4/Semrush/Moz certifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead comprehensive SEO strategies (technical, on-page, off-page, local).
• Run technical audits, migrations, and content optimisation with QA discipline.
• Line-manage and upskill SEO Executives; mentor and set clear workflows.
• Collaborate with Paid Search, Social, Content and CRO teams to embed SEO insights.
• Define metrics and track rankings, traffic, engagement, conversions; translate to actions.
• Maintain day-to-day client relationships; present insights and roadmaps clearly.
• Research AI/search trends and new capabilities to keep offerings cutting-edge.
• Refine workflows and resource allocation with Account Director to scale best practices.
