Job summary

ThePlaceToBe is seeking an SEO / GEO Strategy Manager to lead end-to-end SEO and GEO initiatives for key accounts. You will collaborate with Tech SEO, Content SEO and Paid Media teams to align strategies and drive measurable results.

You will liaison with clients, present performance insights, and identify growth opportunities across SEO and AI. The role requires strong leadership and a passion for innovative search marketing.

Qualifications

• Experience in an SEO focused role with a strong understanding of SEO strategy.
• Knowledge of GEO and AI pathways in search marketing.
• Understanding of technical SEO elements (audits, migrations) and SEO content.
• Passion for the latest technology and a knack for innovating processes.
• Experience in account and client management.
• Agency experience preferred but not essential.
• Must be able to commute to Leeds, 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Manage end to end SEO and GEO Strategy for a handful of the agency's key accounts.
• Collaborate with Tech SEO, Content SEO and Paid Media teams to ensure strategy alignment.
• liaise with clients and update on campaign performance.
• Analyse websites and data sources to identify site issues.
• Supply ideas around growth areas of SEO and AI.
• Manage junior or executive team members and delegate workload.
• Lead on reporting and insights for clients with regular updates on performance and roadmap progress.

As a SEO / GEO Strategy Manager, you’ll join a busy and vibrant strategy team

What you’ll be doing day to day...

• Manage end to end SEO and GEO Strategy for a handful of the agencies key accounts
• Collaborate closely with Tech SEO, Content SEO, Paid Media teams to ensure strategy is aligned
• Liaise closely with client and update on campaign performance
• Analyse websites and data sources to identify site issues
• Supply ideas around growth areas of SEO and AI
• Manage junior or executive members of the team and delegate workload
• Lead on reporting and insights for your clients – ensuring there are regular updates both in terms of performance impact and progress against the strategic roadmap
