The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to make a name for yourself at an award-winning digital marketing agency while working with like-minded, experienced search engine specialists. The SEO Executive role sits within the SEO department and supports strategists and specialists across our client portfolio, helping deliver SEO strategy to an exceptionally high standard.

We take professional development very seriously. Not only will you have the opportunity to work alongside our friendly team of award-winning search marketers, but you'll also be provided with a tailored SEO training programme to ensure your applied skills are as good as they can be, whether that's in technical SEO, content creation or link acquisition.

Requirements:
  • SEO Experience & Track Record: Demonstrable experience in an SEO-focused role, typically with a minimum of 12 to 24 months’ hands-on experience in digital marketing or agency environments

  • Integrated Search Knowledge: Hands‑on experience contributing to varied, end‑to‑end SEO strategies spanning content creation and optimisation, technical SEO auditing, and link building/backlink analysis

  • Analytics & SEO Tooling: An applied understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console, alongside familiarity with core industry tools (such as Ahrefs, Sistrix or similar enterprise platforms)

  • Content & Copywriting: Strong business copywriting and proofreading skills, with the ability to write engaging, high‑quality on‑page content tailored to client brand guidelines, tone of voice, and search intent

  • Career Ambition & Passion: A genuine passion for organic search and digital marketing, with a proactive drive to build a long‑term, progressive career within a fast‑paced agency setting

Candidate Profile:
  • Organisation & Time Management: High standards of personal organisation and time management, with the ability to independently prioritise tasks, log time accurately, and deliver high‑quality work across a diverse portfolio of client accounts

  • Stakeholder & Client Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting deliverables clearly to Impression's channel owners and engaging directly with client stakeholders over email, calls, and meetings where required

  • Quality & Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong personal standard for quality checking (QAing) work prior to submission, ensuring accuracy and commercial alignment

  • Proactive & Resilient Nature: A self‑starter with an outgoing, adaptable, and resilient mindset - eager to seek feedback, solve problems, and collaborate closely with channel owners to drive client performance
Flexible working at Impression without losing team connections
We love the focus of deep work at home, but we value team connections just as much. That’s why we use a hybrid model with at least one purposeful Pulse Day in the office each week to catch up and collaborate. To maximise our time together, the SEO team head into the office on Tuesdays.
